I am so fortunate to have found work I love! A nurturer by nature, I have found doula work fulfilling. It is so rewarding to witness the transformation birth brings to a woman and her family; I am honored every time I am asked to be of service during this precious time.
I began my journey in 2006 when I took the Birth Doula Training at Seattle Midwifery School (now Bastyr) with Penny Simkin and began supporting women and their families through their birth experiences. From there, I expanded into the postpartum realm in 2007 and shortly after that began preparing placenta for postpartum wellness. I am committed to continuing my education in the birth field and keeping up with the latest trends and developments in the birth community.
I enjoy being a mother to my amazing daughter, getting my hands dirty in the garden, preserving food, exploring nature, cooking, good music and nurturing families.
